Personality/Background Kougyoku is the youngest princess from the Kou Empire, a fictional country based on ancient China. The daughter of a prostitute and the sickly Koutoku, younger brother of the then-emperor Hakutoku, timid Kougyoku was largely neglected by the imperial court due to her lowborn status and was often gloomy and alone. However, her condition improved after Hakutoku's death and Koutoku's rise to the throne. Thanks to the new attendant assigned to her, Kougyoku became more cheerful, refined and gained an interest in makeup and fashion. Judar and her brother Kouen encouraged her to become a warrior because of her talent. Until now, she prides herself in this.

Although skilled in diplomacy and combat, Kougyoku is a little clumsy and very much spoiled sweet. She is a naive and sheltered in the ways of the world. Thus, her heart can be easily manipulated. She is also a very sensitive soul, quick to anger and prone to tears. Her sensitivity leads to her timidity, which is so great that she cannot even approach her friendly cousins and chooses to watch them from afar. Even so, she is always looking for opportunities for new experiences, especially if she can do them with other people.

In battle, she is a monster. She loves the thrill of a fight! But she doesn't only fight out of bloodlust—in fact, she will do anything to anything to protect her family and friends, even if it means killing a hundred or so rebels and peasants.

Recently, her friend count went from zero to one.

Plot Information

Motivations What ultimately drives her is what she must do for the people who are important to her. She is a lonesome girl, so she holds anyone who is nice to her in high regard. She is usually good-natured, but if anyone close to her were to be harmed, she would have no qualms killing the culprit and taking everyone else down with them. However, her attachment to others can be unhealthy. Due to this, she can be easily talked into killing for a friend.

Memory Loss Kougyoku will lose her memories of everything that transpired after her loud arrival in Sindria, thus forgetting the time she spent with Sinbad, her first love, and the time she made her first friend, Alibaba.

Skills As a princess and a member of the Kou royal family, Kougyoku is well-trained in the arts of diplomacy and swordplay. She is also one of the few who possess a metal vessel, which is an object used to contain a djinn, an artificial lifeform created by King Solomon. A metal vessel enables its user to use magic without being magicians themselves. It can be any object the person holds dear. In Kougyoku's case, it is her golden hairpin, a gift from Ka Koubun. This vessel glows in combat with an 8-pointed star when she calls forth the power of her Djinn, Vinea, a water dragon. Vinea enables her to use water magic with her own magoi (a power/concept similar to mana, qi, chakra or MP) and borrow or gather water from her surroundings for her attacks. Her exceptional skill enables her to use this magic defensively as a membrane and offensively as jets of water spinning around her weapon.

Djinn Weapon Equip » To amplify her attacks, she can surround her weapon with magoi (life force or magic in the Magi world) and equip it with her djinn. This is a more proper way to utilize a djinn rather than using its raw power to cast spells.
Djinn Equip » A full-body Djinn Equip can take place when one can compress their Djinn's power within him or herself, unleashing its full potential. When this happens, the Metal Vessel user's appearance attempts to take on the appearance of the Djinn. Compared to other Metal Vessel users, Kougyoku can do a djinn weapon equip effortlessly.

These are not the only spells she can do! As you can see, she's your typical overpowered shounen manga character with levels over 9000, so I'd very much like to depower her in the game. If she will be allowed to use her metal vessel but will be unable to do her Djinn Equip and make Household Members, that'd be perfect. If even her Weapon Equip is not allowed, I'm okay with nerfing that, too.

Items Her golden hairpin described above! If she can't bring that with her, I'm alright with either getting it as a gift later on or replacing it with a jian instead. If she can't come with any of those, it's also fine!

Murder Mystery A sly character, Character A, knows of Kougyoku's acquaintance, Character B's plot to kill them. They manipulate Kougyoku, a gullible girl, into believing that Character B is plotting to kill one of her brothers. She hesitates because Character B has been nothing but nice to her, so she meets with Character B to confirm the rumor. Seeing this as an opportunity, Character B tells Kougyoku that the rumor is not true and that Character A is the one plotting to kill them. They ask Kougyoku to kill Character A before they make their move. The next day, Kougyoku swiftly kills Character A with a blade, enraged that she was manipulated.
